Like any membership organisation, the BSCRA holds information about our members, including names and addresses, other membership details, activities, competition history, methods of payment, and communications with the BSCRA.
How the BSCRA will communicate with you.
BSCRA needs to communicate with members, magazine subscribers and race meeting entrants to acknowledge receipt of fees, to acknowledge receipt of votes, to provide other information about competitions they have entered and to provide reminders when membership renewal is due. BSCRA will use the means of contacting the member, subscriber or entrant they have requested which will usually be the e mail address the member / subscriber / entrant has provided on the membership / subscription / entry / voting form.
Where membership / subscription includes printed publications, these will be posted to the address the member has provided. BSCRA may use a third party provider to distribute the publications in which case the third party will be provided with addresses for the sole purpose of distributing the printed matter. BSCRA will not provide your contact details to any other third parties.
What the BSCRA will publish on line and in the BSCRA magazine.
BSCRA may publish the following on its web sites and magazine.
1 Competition data - race results, championships, driver grades / rankings and entry lists for meetings. This will not include members' contact details or date of birth but may include the entrant's name (as they have given it on their entry form) , membership number, club and if they are classified as a junior.
2 BSCRA membership list.
This will not include members' contact details or date of birth but may include the entrant's name (as they have given it on their membership form), membership number, club and if they are classified as a junior.
3 Club publicity
We will publish the details of BSCRA registered clubs which the club asks us to publish. For example clubs can ask us include contact details for the club secretary, the clubroom address, meeting times. We will not publish details unless the club asks us to.
